What is PIX?
Pix is the Brazilian instant payment. The payment method created by the Banco Central (BC). You can transfer money between accounts in a few seconds, at any time or day. It's practical, fast and safe. Pix can be made from a current account, savings account or prepaid payment account.
The purpose
Since our client became a payment institution, we need to adapt to the new rules.
As a result, the PIX payment method is now mandatory in our app.

The prototypes
We receive a Experience manual from Banco Central, where we can found all obligatory rules for PIX prototypes. A few features we needed to understand, refine and prototype:
- Create, delete and share a PIX key.
- Edit Pix limits.
- Transfer money.
- Receive money.
- Pay with QR Code.
- Generate a payment link and QR Code.
Figma's user flow and user cases
Accessibility Voice Over/ Talk Back
Impact
This feature will impact more than 1.5 million users out of the total 6 million users. After the development, the feature will launch in mid 2025. After working with a framework H.E.A.R.T., we are well prepared to track the product metrics.
